Our tester found the auto-lock somewhat confusing, and because the handlebar doesn't lock in its position when you push it to the side, it struck her leg when she tried to use it. She also thought that the handlebar was on the shorter side. This is particularly true when a large changing bag is hanging from it.
The double stroller isn't as light as other buggies. It comes with a wide variety of features, and is among the most versatile double strollers on the market. Our testers discovered that the Nipper Double is incredibly easy to navigate, even on bumpy terrain or when turning on a busy road. They were also amazed by the fact that both seats recline independently, which means they can be adjusted to suit the individual's needs. This is ideal for napping.
They also loved the fact that the hoods could be moved forward and back making them easy to adjust in the sun or to provide wind protection. They did not offer the same amount of coverage as the Baby Jogger City Mini Hoods. It's worth having an extra rain cover in case.
Overall, our testers loved the way that the Nipper Double made it possible for them to take their twin girls Sydney and Lyla on a variety of adventures, from spotting wildlife in the woods to rush to the park for a quick playdate. The testers were also awed with how spacious and comfortable the two seats are. There's plenty of room for toddlers who are growing. Our testers did note, however, that the lack of parent-facing seating and the inability to use car seats with this buggy were a problem, and they would like to see more storage space to store shopping items and other accessories.
